I hope you’re doing well and can stay safe. I’ve been keeping myself busy and would like to update you on what’s been going on. I’ll be talking about my plans for the future and will be finishing this blog entry with a little gift.

I passed my exams
Trying to cope with the pandemic for the past 6 months, I have focussed my attention mostly on my studies. Anything else – the magazine, freelance jobs and photography – had been put on a time-out. Last week, I received the grades of my final exams. I am happy to say that I have passed both Master Programme modules.

Besides being over the moon about passing the exams, I can’t wait to put what I have learned into practice for the magazine and the publishing agency. I used Let’s Explore Publishers as the case study for the Corporate Communications module and have started with building a purpose-driven strategy for the agency, the journal and the magazine. For those who have taken the time to fill in the survey, thank you so much for that! Your input has helped me a lot and the results will influence my next steps. The final plans – spanning 2020 to 2023 – will be shared once they are ready. It already has provided me with a new boost of energy regarding publishing inspirational content, in print and online(!). I am aiming for a lot more engagement and possibilities to collaborate.

I have a hard time sitting still, as you might have guessed by now. So, now that I have slowed down a bit for a week or two, it is time to revisit what I shelved in January of this year: a new issue of Let’s Explore Magazine. I have worked on the theme’s essay at the end of 2019, to launch it at the beginning of 2020.

Let’s Explore Magazine: The ?-issue
With everything going on, I am rewriting bits of that, so that the current global situation can be addressed as well. Thereby creating, what can be interpreted as, somewhat of a time-capsule of the state we are finding ourselves in at the moment. So, please bear with me as I wrap up the theme. I hope to publish it by the end of September, after which story-ideas can be pitched and contributors for the next issue will be selected.

A small but potential big gift
To celebrate my graduation, the start of a new issue as well as growing Let’s Explore Publishers, I’m offering free shipping to anywhere in the world when you use the coupon code: STAYHEALTHY at checkout. If you decide to gift a magazine, I can l add a handwritten personal note with your message.

Let’s make staying at home a little bit more inspirational 🙂
